Ambassador of Belarus P.Vzyatkin presents Credentials to the President of Ethiopia

On June 1, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kenya and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia concurrently Pavel Vzyatkin presented his Credentials to the President of Ethiopia Sahle-Work Zewde.

During the conversation within the framework of the ceremony, the Ambassador of Belarus expressed interest in maintaining and strengthening friendly and mutually respectful relations between Belarus and Ethiopia, as well as in developing bilateral political dialogue.

The Belarusian diplomat noted the presence of significant potential for the development of trade and economic cooperation between the countries and expressed an opinion about the prospects for the implementation of joint projects in the field of agriculture and industry. P.Vzyatkin stressed that Belarusian agricultural machinery and trucks are well known to consumers in Ethiopia.

President S.-V.Zewde welcomed the appointment of the Belarusian Ambassador and expressed her readiness to contribute to the development of strong relations between the countries in many areas. The President of Ethiopia conveyed her best wishes to the President of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian people.
