Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Barysevich participates in the International Conference “Impact of Global Economic Challenges on Social and Labor Human Rights”

On September 13, 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Mikalai Barysevich took part in the opening ceremony of the International Conference “Impact of Global Economic Challenges on Social and Labor Rights”, organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.

In his statement, Mikalai Barysevich noted the counter-productiveness of unilateral coercive measures and their negative impact on the fulfilment of Belarus’s international commitments in the field of sustainable development, which was also confirmed on September 9 during the meeting of the Council for Sustainable Development chaired by the National Coordinator for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals Anatoly Isachenko.

During the event, the Deputy Minister also drew attention to the initiative of the Head of State on the need to launch a global dialogue on security aimed at establishing a stable, fair and predictable world order and eradicating the practice of using unilateral coercive measures.
