Ambassador of Belarus V.Barchuk visits Nicaragua

On March 4-5, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Cuba and concurrently to the republic of Nicaragua, Vitali Barchuk paid working visit to Managua.

V.Barchuk met with the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Oscar Mojica, the Minister of Industry and Trade Development, Jesus Bermudez, the Secretary General of the Managua City Hall, Fidel Moreno, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Giovanni Alvarez, the Director of the Institute of Municipal Transport Regulation, Amaru Ramirez, the President of the Central Bank, Ovidio Reyes, the Presidential Adviser on Investment, Trade and International Cooperation, Laureano Ortega.

The sides noted the warm friendly relations between the two countries, the high level of political interaction and support for each other in the international arena, as well as dynamically developing cooperation in the trade and economic sphere.

They also discussed agenda of IV session of the Belarusian-Nicaraguan Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as current state of ongoing projects and promising areas of cooperation.
