Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Y.Ambrazevich meets the Deputy Director General of UNIDO

On September 27, 2022 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Ambrazevich, met with the Deputy General Director, Managing Director of the Department of Corporate Services and Operations of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), Yuko Yasunaga.
Y.Ambrazevich noted the importance of UNIDO's efforts to promote the industrial development of middle-income countries and to assist the implementation of new environmental standards and technologies.
The interlocutors discussed the current project activities of UNIDO in Belarus, in particular the ongoing project in the area of smart production in Brest, and confirmed their interest in preparing on its basis a new project in the Mogilev region as well as a new project in the area of eco-industrial parks.
