Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Y.Ambrazevich meets the head of the ICRC regional Delegation

On June 22, 2022 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Yury Ambrazevich met with the head of the regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Belarus, Russia and Moldova Ikhtiyar Aslanov.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on topical issues of interaction between Belarus and the ICRC. The parties reviewed the results of the work carried out within the framework of the plan of cooperation between the Belarusian state bodies and organizations with the Committee for 2022, including the implementation of initiatives to disseminate knowledge about international humanitarian law.
The interlocutors paid special attention to the situation on the territory of Ukraine, discussed the activities of the ICRC aimed at providing assistance to displaced persons, as well as to the civilian population affected by the armed conflict.
The parties noted the high level of understanding and support of each other in resolving humanitarian issues, and also expressed their mutual readiness to continue constructive cooperation.
