Multilateral diplomacy and instrumental participation in the work of international organizations is an essential part of our foreign policy.

Today, no country can stand by idly global and regional integration processes. Modern challenges cannot be addressed effectively by one or a group of countries separate from the rest of the world. To rise to global challenges genuinely requires international mechanisms that would ensure equal participation of all countries no matter how big or developed they are.

A donor to European processes, Belarus ensures effective functioning of major transport and energy communication networks and contributes to fight against illegal migration and to the promotion of political, military and interethnic stability in the region.

Apart from our work in international organizations, we largely focus on strenuous activities within the CIS and other integration processes in the post-Soviet area. We also participate in different multilateral and regional fora and pay attnetion to cooperation with intergration processes in Western Europe.
